When we tell people what we do, we often hear this question, “So it’s like a radio?” 🧐
It’s NOT. 🙅🏻
This is a myth that has to be debunked. They are both under the audio segment, but they’re a totally different ballgame.
📻 Radio is a live broadcast produced with a pre-set, fixed schedule. It is usually used as medium for mass-communication a.k.a news- or media-worthy content.
🎙 Podcasts do not have a pre-determined format and schedule. They are pre-recorded and are downloaded or streamed as digital audio files. This means that people can listen to them anytime and anywhere.
Radio broadcasts are complicated and needs professional equipment. On the other hand podcasts can be done with minimal equipment. So it’s very easy for anybody to create their own.

Have you ever lost your way? What did you do then? 🔍
I know some of you would’ve pulled out your phones and navigated your way around through a map. 🗺
Others would’ve probably called someone they’re with or asked people for some directions. 🧭
Wherever you go, it’s important to know your way around to avoid getting lost. Just like in course creation. ✍🏼
You’re brimming with ideas and you know a lot of things. There are a lot of things you could do and you can add as many modules or topics you like.
But I’m telling you right now, it doesn’t work that way.
The way I see it your course might either…
…overwhelm you and lead to burnout, or…
…overwhelm your clients and lead to a decrease in sales.
This is one of the mistakes new and aspiring course creators make – they don’t have a map for their online courses.
They don’t know which way to go, so they end up getting lost and end up not selling anything.
Here are some important questions to ask yourself as you are mapping out your course content:
👉🏼 WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING?
· A topic that you are highly interested in.
· An industry where you have gained skills and knowledge.
· A situation or lived experience that taught you a life lesson. These are the things they don’t teach you in school but wish they had.
· Public or peer recognition for achievement and success.
👉🏼 WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
· Does this really matter to your client?
· What do they value or believe to be important to create the momentum necessary to see success in this area or topic of importance?
👉🏼 HOW CAN YOUR CLIENTS PUT INTO PRACTICE WHAT THEY ARE LEARNING?
· What is the process, strategy, or field assignment you are offering to help them see results?
· Who has achieved the results or desired outcome?
· A Client you helped to go from A-B

“How do I change for the better?”
As individuals, it is inevitable for us to seek growth and improve ourselves. The question is, “How?”
Everybody is different, so there is no fixed formula in becoming the best version of yourself. It is a good thing though, because you are free to develop habits that work well for you and help you become better.
If you don’t know where to start, you can try out these 10 habits that can help you become the best version of yourself.
We are slowly getting our lives back in the new normal.
Putting a plan in the place to combat employee anxiety and burnout can be one of the best steps you take towards a healthy team.
👇🏻Here are some tips to help them cope with transitioning from work-from-home to the office.
1. Give them space to slowly socialize.
Everyone has been holed up in their private bubbles during the pandemic. So, it will be a bit tedious to relearn the social practices in the new normal. To avoid social fatigue, try to begin with small group meetings and consider their boundaries with socializing.
2. Establish rituals with your team.
Create a sense of community by having a support circle where they can share their experiences and reflect on what has happened during the pandemic. This will help them feel heard and give some sense of security at work.
3. Reassess their current roles.
Job responsibilities have increased due to the shift in roles and workers. So as they return to the office, it is crucial to know if the roles they currently have makes sense for them. This will help avoid overwork and burnout, and increase productivity and morale.
4. Provide exclusive time for productivity.
Working from home forced employees to rely on digital communications which has greatly impacted their productivity. They’ve been receiving and replying to messages and emails, and have been attending meetings every now and then. Thus, spending more time getting back to their tasks.
Try implementing policies that prioritize periods of uninterrupted work to increase focus and productivity. For example, establish a no-meeting day or reassess your meeting culture.
5. Give them time to recover.
Let them take a break! Your employees have been juggling their daily work and life responsibilities during the pandemic, and suddenly going back to the office might tip that balance. It can be draining for them, so consider giving them a week away so they can return energized, creative and more productive.
Healthcare workers are some of the most stressed people you’ll ever meet.
They face high psychological, emotional and physical stresses daily. So, it is vital for them to know how to manage it.
Here are are some tips that can help healthcare workers cope from stress: 👇🏻
1️⃣ Rest. Rest. Rest.
Take every opportunity to rest between your shifts. After all, healthcare workers are humans, too! Give yourself some time to reset and become more refreshed before you face another shift.
2️⃣ Keep in touch with your loved ones.
Socializing with your family and friends can help boost your mood. It can also provide you with some space away from your workplace. For example, a night out with them can help you relieve some stress from your shift.
3️⃣ Stay healthy!
Eating nutritious food and exercising regularly can help replenish your body and boost your immune system. It will help keep your mind more active and minimize fatigue. Moreover, doing some physical activity can aid in boosting your mood and help you sleep better.
4️⃣ Trust yourself.
Nobody knows yourself as you do! Assess what stress-coping methods work for you and continue it. But always remember to avoid unhealthy choices – the goal is to keep yourself healthy for the long run!
